Kok Liang is a certified peer support specialist, having obtained his training and certification from the Singapore Association for Mental Health, Caregivers Alliance and the National Council of Social Service.
Kok Liang currently works at the Anglican Care Centre (Simei) as a Programme Assistant, Rehab Services. Besides coordination and administrative duties, he also conducts peer work. Kok Liang is also involved in advocacy work, by sharing his recovery story to create awareness and de-stigmatise mental health conditions. Prior to this, he had worked as a Peer Support Worker in Simei Care Centre (now known as Anglican Care Centre (Simei) from 2013 until early January.
