Koay Peng Yen is a board member of Caregivers Alliance Limited. He had held various chief executive roles. He was Group CEO of Tiger Airways Holdings, a company listed on the Singapore Exchange. Peng Yen restructured an airline in crisis by re-focusing on its home market and selling off its unprofitable units. Prior to that, he was executive director of Pacific Carriers Limited, a maritime and offshore services company, and concurrently the managing director of PaxOcean Engineering, an offshore and marine engineering company, both part of Kuok Singapore Limited. Peng Yen also served as group CEO of IMC Corp Limited, a pan-Asian industrial, maritime and logistics organisation. In his earlier career, Peng Yen was with the NOL Group, a listed shipping and logistics company, for 18 years in various senior capacities. His last held positions were as NOL’s President of Greater China, based in Shanghai, and SVP of Transpacific Service, based in the USA. Peng Yen has served on international joint-venture boards with a range of organisations, including global energy, logistics, shipping and airline companies. He holds a Master of Science in Ocean Systems Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
