Wong Mei Yin is a clinical psychologist. She has worked in and headed the Psychology Services in primary care clinics of the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics for the last 10 years. Mei Yin and her team work closely with family physicians and other healthcare professionals to integrate their practices for addressing the mental and physical health concerns of their patients within the Health & Mind Service. Mei Yin is particularly interested in developing and training psychologists who are keen to apply and adapt their specialist skills to meet the challenges of the generalist environment in primary care and community settings. Together, they aim to serve the high patient volumes, while applying steps to enhance inter-professional collaboration, improve patient centred care, increase accessibility to care, engage patients for greater confidence, changes in symptomatic outcomes and quality holistic care in mind and body.
