Tina Hung earned her Masters in Public Administration and Social Work at Eastern Washington University, USA. She is the Deputy CEO at the National Council of Social Service. She leads NCSS efforts for service planning, innovation and funding in order to address service gaps for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations. She is passionate about providing effective and user empowered solutions and sets standards for funding.
She serves on national and inter-ministry committees and panels to conduct national reviews, develop masterplans and coordinate national efforts to address social problems within the larger eco-system, prototype solutions, create new services and improve service delivery.
Since 2015, she has provided strategic leadership to guide NCSS public education efforts to combat stigma against people with disability and persons with mental health conditions.
Ms Hung serves on the ComCare Supervisory Committee, the Data Protection Advisory Committee and the Board of Special Needs Trust Company.
She received the Pioneer Social Worker Award and the National Day Award – The Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2016.
